Like all good ideas, Plungie was born one balmy Queensland evening over a couple of beers between friends: Ty, Ben, and Mick.

Their ambition was to disrupt the antiquated and outdated pool-building industry. Coming from engineering, fabrication, and construction backgrounds, the boys set out to create an innovative, scalable solution so that more homeowners could enjoy their own pool.

After two years of intense research, product development, and sleepless nights, Ben hand-built the very first Plungie; circa 2018.

Fast forward to now, Plungie is an award-winning, world-first product that’s pioneering the future of swimming pools in Australia, the United States, and Canada.
